Tampak depan gedung tengah Museum Transportasi TMII Jakarta Timur saat itu. Di depan halaman gedung terdapat instalasi Mercusuar ZM Willem III buatan tahun 1879 dari bahan baja tahan karat. Motor listriknya tiga pass dengan lampu pijar berkekuatan 1000 watt yang bisa dilihat dari jarak 20 mil laut. Mercusuar merupakan sahabat para nelayan dan para pelaut.

Sebuah koleksi Museum Transportasi TMII Jakarta yang disimpan di ruang pamer di dalam gedung bernama Cikar Damri dan merupakan armada pertama DAMRI pada 1946 yang digunakan untuk mengangkut keperluan logistik bagi satuan militer di daerah Banyumas. Cikar sejenis ini, yang di kampung-kampung pun sekarang sudah agak sulit ditemui, pada jaman itu juga digunakan di Kota Surabaya dan Mojokerto.

Masih di ruang pamer luar Museum Transportasi TMII terdapat bus tingkat pertama yang digunakan di Indonesia, dinamai Si Jangkung Merah. Bus tahun 1968 ini bermerk Leyland, Inggris, dirakit PN PPD dengan panjang 9,5 m, lebar 2,5 m, tinggi 4,45 m, melayani rute Blom M – Salemba – Senen. Di sebelah kirinya adalah bus kota yang pernah dioperasikan oleh DAMRI.
Still in the showroom outside the Transportation Museum, there's the first double-decker bus used in Indonesia, named Si Jangkung Merah (The Red Tall). The 1968 bus, branded Leyland, England, was assembled by PN PPD with a length of 9.5 m, 2.5 m width, 4.45 m high, serving the Blom M - Salemba - Senen route. To the left is a city bus once operated by DAMRI.

Dibuat dari kayu kuning atau kayu susu / yerat yang dikupas kulitnya, diruncingkan ujungnya, dan bagian dalamnya dilubangi hingga berbentuk lesung. Haluan perahu diberi ornamen Cicemen, yaitu ukiran burung dan roh nenek moyang. Di sebelah kanan adalah Perahu Banjar atau perahu tambangan yang dapat memuat 20 orang dan ada sejak abad ke-17 di jaman Kerajaan Banjar. Perahu jenis ini masih digunakan kawasan pasar terapung Banjarmasin.
